NUS Retreat Held at Mission Hospital

Nearly 90 Nursing Unit Supervisors (NUSs) from Mission Hospital gathered in Asheville, North Carolina, on June 8, 2016 for a half-day retreat, “Impact of the Empowered Nurse Leader.”

Speakers included Karen Olsen, MBA, BSN, RN, NE-BC, Vice President and Chief Nursing Officer; Laurie Zone-Smith, PhD, RN, NE-BC, Executive Director, Nursing Practice, Education and Research and Debbie Krueger, MSN, RN, NE-BC, CHTP, Director, Nursing Professional Development, both of Mission Health; and CJ Merrill, MSN, RN, CPXP, Patient Experience Officer, Mission Hospital.
